Obi Cubana unveils ‘next-of-kin’ after his adopted son claimed role in TikTok challenge

Nigerian billionaire businessman and nightlight connoisseur, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has cleared the air on who his real next-of-kin is.

This came after his adopted son, Chidi, went viral on social media after he joined a Tiktok challenge where he vaguely claimed to be the billionaire’s next-of-kin.

In the Tiktok video, Chidi could be seen strutting proudly with a caption that read, “Nothing do my shoulder, I just realise sey I be next of kin.”

Following the wide reactions that trailed the video, Obi Cubana has now cleared the air on who his real next-of-kin is.

In what could be described as a subtle response to Chidi’s antics, Obi Cubana posted a photo of himself and Alex, his biological, on Instagram with the caption:

“Ancient and Modern, eyes 👀 on the ball! @dtwalx aka Next-of-kin!🤣🥰”

Meanwhile, the billionaire businessman was in Awka, Anambra State capital, on Sunday where he praised the performance of the Governor of the state, Charles Soludo.

He hailed the Governor for actively transforming the state and fulfilling his campaign promises. Obi Cubana noted that Soludo’s developmental efforts have touched all areas of the state and described him as a leader who is eager to do even more.

With Governor Soludo gearing up for a return for a second term, Obi Cubana expressed strong confidence in the Governor’s re-election chances.

He said, “I believe this may be the first time in Anambra State where there might be no real contest. It’s going to be a walkover because the governor is delivering on his promises for a new Anambra.”
